Native Plant Restoration cannot be underestimated in it's value to the environment and eco-system. Full Native Plant Restoration goes through a basic cycle:
- Isolate whether or not there are invasive species.
- Take appropriate actions to remove the invasives species by mechanical or hand removal. As necessary, prescirbed burns also remove invasive species.
- Planting of native species seed. A high concentration and a high diversity of seed is best to ensure that native plants are growing in their natural habitat year round. The restoration of native species provides the wildlife with year round feeding.
- Management plan is to ensure invasive species are not coming back and taking appropriate actions to combat any recurrence.
